The Vickers Vimy Bomber is the British Bomber In game and can do a lot of damage to the enemy defense. He is one of the few units in the game that does not have a spawn building..It is also one of the few units that does not attack the Toy Box.

Armarment and Apperance[]

The Vickers Vimy Bomber is a large biplane with two motors, with the rotors pointing forward. Almost the entire plane is coated with Lozeng camouflage, with the exception of the tail, which is completely white. The plane is completely painted green like the Sopwith Camel. At the stern, the rudders are painted white and red. The roundel of the British Air Force is located on the wings as well as on the sides of the aircraft.

History[]

The Vickers F.B.27 Vimy was a British heavy bomber of the First World War. The aircraft developed by R. K. Pierson and built by Vickers was intended for air strikes on targets in Germany, but never saw combat. With a Vimy, two pilots made the non-stop crossing of the Atlantic for the first time in June 1919. They flew 3667 km in 16 hours 12 minutes, i.e. at an average speed of about 225 km / h over the ground.

After the war, the Vimy was developed into a commercial aircraft and was named Vimy Commercial.
