Description[]
Toy Soldiers: Cold War is the second game in the Toy Soldiers franchise. The game takes place during a "Cold War Gone Hot" between NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
The game brings some more innovations like barrages and mini games as well as multiplayer.
Gameplay[]
As in the first game in the Toy Soldier series, you defend your toy box against enemy units by building towers and controlling units.. However, there are some major differences compared to its predecessor.
If you destroy several enemies with a tower in a short time or an enemy with a red star, you get a barrage. Barrages are a kind of support that you can call out. This ranges from artillery strikes to bombing orbital lasers and atomic bombs. Another important difference is that you can no longer use the units indefinitely. They run on the battery and if it is empty, the unit is destroyed. However, several batteries are distributed on the battlefields and most vehicles can be brought back to the charging station.
The enemy also has new tactics to attack. There are now transporters that drop infantry from the ground or from the air near the toy box

MIni Games[]
The most special thing about "Toy Soldier: Cold war" are the mini games. In these you control a tower or a unit and have to do special tasks, such as killing flies, rescuing soldiers, and more.
Multiplayer[]
In this game there is a multiplayer for the first time. There are several different maps. Both sides can buy units that make their way to the toy box or control their own units. Asl also call Barrages. The construction sites must be conquered by standing on it for a while with the command unit. This only works if there is no enemy tower on it. Only the faction that owns this construction area can build a towers on it. Anyone who lost all the life points of their toy box first has lost.
